Introduction to Using Properties of Rectangles, Triangles, and Trapezoids

What you'll learn to do: Use properties of rectangles, triangles, and trapezoids to solve problems

This summer, you decide to grow veggies to add to your garden. However, you first need to build raised garden beds in your backyard. These garden beds are in different shapes and sizes, including rectangles, triangles, and trapezoids. To build these garden beds, you will need to understand measurement, in linear, square, and cubic metrics. You will also learn about the properties of rectangles, triangles, and trapezoids to make the best garden beds possible. Before you get started, take this readiness quiz.
